40 weeks of taking pictures (almost) every day. Wow! This week in photos I hung out with the cats at my house, the cats at the shelter, and had a nice visit from my dad on his way back to New Mexico. Oh, and I went to a pretty kick-ass Emmitt-Nershi Band show at the Vaudeville Mews. Awesome.

Emmitt-Nershi Band @ the Vaudeville Mews - 9/29/10
Oh boy oh boy! When I saw that the Emmitt-Nershi Band was coming to Des Moines, I was overjoyed. The Mews is such a small venue, which gives fans the opportunity to mingle with the musicians. I was very happy to be able talk to Billy, even for just a minute. This was a very high energy show - both from the band and the audience. Even though there was a rival bluegrass show just a block away (Trampled by Turtles @ People's), there was a huge turnout at the Mews.
This was a great show. A bunch of great Billy songs, a bunch of great Drew songs, and a lot of moving feet.

Project 365 - Week 36
This week in photos begins at Red Rocks for Yonder Mountain. What a fantastic show! We even got to go to some of the backstage area. Sweet. The next day was Nedfest, which we decided to do on the fly. What a great choice. Instead of staying for the second day of Nedfest, we drove home. Maybe not the best choice, but oh well. The next few days I spent with kitties and in my favorite spot - my recliner.
