This week in pictures shows a new addition to our Animal Lifeline residents: Wally. Wally is so incredibly sweet but was horribly neglected. Slowly but surely he's getting better, but in the meantime he's really enjoying all the love and attention.
The next three days were spent mostly in my living room, avoiding the brutal heat of the outside. Finally, I decided to venture out when I got my new camera bag in the mail. I went to Grays Lake and photographed the flooding. The next day I was just sitting in my recliner (like usual) when I heard a loud smash outside. I looked out my window, and what do you know? Someone drove their mid-90s Crown Vic into my Grand Am. Awesome.
Pro: the driver stopped
Con: he didn't have insurance
Pro: I have full coverage insurance
So, all in all, it's a blessing in disguise since now we will be able to get a new car. But still, where do people learn to drive?
